Vegetable Raita by Vah Chef


Raita is an Indian condiment. The base Ingredient to make raita is Yogurt. Raita is a great accompaniment with Indian spicy recipes especially rice dishes like Biryani, Pulao.
Raita can be sweet or savory.
Vegetable Raita is a Savory Raita. To make mixed vegetable Raita, chop and add your choice of vegetables like tomato, onion, carrot, bell pepper, cucumber in plain yogurt. You can vary by using single vegetable of your choice. Sprinkle some roasted Cumin powder, chat masala to enhance the taste of the raita. Enjoy with spiced rice or any other spicy dish.
To make it colorful add small cubes of Yellow, Red and Green Bell pepper.
