Making Chapati Bread

Chapati is similar to wheat flour Tortilla or thin flat bread. In India, it is a part of daily diet in common households.

Making chapati is a multi-step process.Firstly, the wheat flour dough is divided into small sized balls and then rolled into medium size rounds (approx 6 inches). This rolled tortilla is then roasted or heated on hot tawa or griddle.Chapati is usually served with Indian curries or dals (like yellow dal, Dal Makhani). And chapatis make delicious wraps with roasted meat or sauteed vegetables.
