Vegetable Biryani by Vah Chef

Biryani is one of the delectable Rice dishes in Indian Cuisine. The name is derived from the Persian word beryā(n) means roasted. There are variety of Biryanis made by using meat or vegetables.
Biryani is very distinct than the other rice dishes because of its preparation method. It is made with Basmati rice which is first slightly flavored with Indian aromatic spices (Whole Garam Masala). Vegetables are sauteed in variety of spices and Biryani masala blend. Then at the end sauteed vegetables and cooked rice are layered into a medium deep pan and slow cooked for 20 to 30 minutes. This gives nice flavor to Biryani Rice.
Although it looks a bit complicated, it will not be after watching this video.
