Tomato Rassam by vah chef


Rasam is a specialty South Indian soup . Tomato Rassam is the basic rasam made of tamarind juice, tomatoes, pepper corn, little cooked lentils and other Indian spices.Variety of Rassams can be made by using different ingredients like Pineapple, Garlic, Ginger, Pepper, Mango, Lemon and many more.
To make Tomato Rassam; chopped tomatoes, onion, tamarind juice and other spices are boiled and slow cooked for about 30 to 40 minutes. To enhance the flavor, hot oil tempering is poured over cooked Rassam and boiled for few more minutes.
