Kesari Kulfi by Sanjeev Kapoor


Kulfi or Qilfi is the frozen dessert originated in India, and believed to be the ancestor of modern day ice cream. It is made with reduced milk, sugar, saffron and dryfruits. This mixture is poured into metal or clay molds and set into the freezer. Matka means clay pot.Traditionally, small clay pots have been used as Kulfi molds. Kulfi has rich and dense texture and sweet delicious taste of reduced milk.

Matka kulfi is presented in small clay pots and its fun to eat kulfi from tiny Matka. Try this cool dessert this summer!!
