Mixed Dal Dosa by Amhi Sare Khavayye


This is a instant Dosa recipe, as there is not need to ferment the batter. Besides that, it is a very healthy dish. It is made of 4 types of soaked dal and soaked rice. Mixed lentil dosa can be enjoyed with chutney and sambar.


Ingredients for non marathi Readers:

Dosa Batter
2 cups Rice
1 cup Moong Dal
1 cup Urad Dal
1 cup Chana Dal
1 cup Toor Dal
1/2 tsp Fenugreek Seeds
1 tsp Cumin seeds
2 to 3 Dry Red chilies

Soak Rice, Moong Dal, Urad Dal, Chana Dal, Toor Dal separately for atleast 5 hours. Drain the water. Mix all dals, rice, Fenugreek seeds, cumin seeds, and dry red chilies and grind to thick consistency batter.

Dry Chutney Powder
Garlic
Dry Coconut
Peanuts
Red Chili powder
Salt

Mix all the ingredients and grind.

How to make dosa
Spread ladleful batter on hot tawa, add some oil. Sprinkle little dry chutney powder, cook both sides.
