Kolhapuri Bhakarwadi


Bhakarwadi is a popular snack from Maharashtra. This spicy fried pastry is eaten as a tea time snack. Kolhapur and Pune are famous for Bhakarwadi. Bhakarwadi in both cities are equally delicious. However, there is a slight difference in ingredients.
Pune Bhakarwadi does not have coriander and garlic in the stuffing while Kolhapur bhakarwadi does have lots of coriander and garlic.
The common ingredients are dry coconut, red chili powder, spices, sev, sesame seeds etc.
